Once upon a time a sly wolf decided to disguise himself in order to get food more easily. He wanted to get near the sheep so he could kill one. He covered himself with a sheepskin and went into the pasture where the sheep were eating. The shepherd didn't recognize him and so the wolf was able to spend all day with the flock of sheep.

In the evening, the shepherd put the sheep back into their pen, locked the gate, and headed home for the night.

As soon as the shepherd was out of sight, the sly wolf decided to pounce on one of the sheep. But, luckily, the shepherd needed to return for something, saw the wolf among the sheep, and killed him. And so the shepherd saved his sheep from the sly wolf.
